He who finds a wife...
id: 3030024

The Bible states in the book of Proverbs 18:22 "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord." NKJV (New King James Version) In another translation, the Contemporary English Version says: Proverbs 22:18 "A man's greatest treasure is his wife - she is a gift from the Lord." And, still another translation, the Good News Translation states: Proverbs 18:22 "Find a wife and you find a good thing; it shows that the Lord is good to you." First I must say that I am a Christian and I believe in God's Word and what it means to my very soul...and in my search for my future wife! In these three translations, it is clear to me that finding a wife is a good thing and God approves of it! When you take God's word and apply it to your search, it makes the search more meaningful and when you find the woman to call your (future) wife, she becomes a good thing, a gift from God, something to be treasured and cherished, not abused or taken for granted. That is why as a Christian man, I know once I find her and call her "mines" God has approved it and has blessed our union and I know that as her man, I will be faithful, loyal, supportive, protective, attentive, affectionate, loving the guardian of her heart and food for her spirit and soul! I will be her strong wall, her shoulder of care, her arms of comfort, her peace in a world of chaos, an ear to listen to her day's activities or concerns, her strength when she feels weak, her breath of life to speak love and affirmation into her ears and heart, her reflection to see the love she has for me shown back to her, her partner in making decisions together as a team, her playmate for pillow fights, tickle moments and all night laugh fits, your lover to bring pleasure to your mind and body and your husband, to be a King for my Queen! One more thing, like any other man, I enjoy the beauty of the physical appearance of a woman who takes pride in how she looks and takes care of herself but one thing that is important for me is that I am a gentleman and would not disrespect any woman by soliciting her for sex at our first meeting because to me, a woman's body should be the last thing I see from her...I want to experience the beauty of her smile, the way her eyes light up when she looks at me, the sound of her voice when saying my name, the comfort of our conversation, the smell of her fragrance and how she moves when she is excited, happy, nervous, shy or to feel her softness when we first hug and hold hands...call me old fashion but I believe these little things add to the foundation of love, adoration and respect for each other so when we share our first kiss, it should be such a build up that it should be breathtaking and leave us both breathless. Then I want to know the contents of your heart; your desires, your dreams, your goals, your concerns and what is important to you and your definition of love and then your mind, to know what stimulates your thoughts, what inspires you, what motivates you, what are you passionate about and how do I fit in all of those things you feel so strongly and believe in and lastly, your body should be the very last thing I see and if should be like slowly unwrapping a Christmas gift that you have been waiting for all year, with anticipation, excitement, eagerness and appreciation and I believe once a woman gives you a heart, her mind and her soul and when she feels comfortable enough to share her body with you, she should be treated tenderly, lovingly, affectionately and treasured because she is a gift from God and if every man approached his search for a wife like this, there would be a lot of satisfied women and happy marriages! So, if you are a Christian woman and this sounds like you want to be with someone who will give you a lifetime of snuggles, cuddles, kisses, hugs, attention and affection and also know that I will pray for you and guard your heart from hurt and betrayal, and to be faithful and loyal to you, then let me know that this speaks to your heart!
