Many are those who approve of the feminist movement in todays society. It is true, women today have more opportunities available to them, they never had in the past. That in and of itself, is not such a bad thing. However, to what cost? Take a look at society today in general. Men trying to be women, women trying to be men. Other men who have become very soft, afraid and unable to stand up for themselves and protect the people they love and who love them. Then there are the women, trying to look and act like men. Many others, who have become uncaring, non-family-oriented people. Success in the business world is all they care about, family be damned. Now let’s take a look at the family unit, or the lack thereof, and what has become of our children. Without seeming or trying to diminish the efforts of a single mother raising her children, it has been proven without a doubt, that children benefit far more by having both parents in the household, than only one or the other. Both the Male and Female daily presence in a growing child’s life, results in an adolescent and young adult who is far more emotionally balanced than one raised in a single parent home. Each parent imparts upon a growing child, various information and experiences, the other is not able to convey as effectively. Not to forget, shared morals and values. As well, a happily married man and woman demonstrate, intentionally or otherwise to a child, how to love, and the meaning of a healthy, stable family. In a successful family unit, the man teaches a child leadership and physical skills while the woman teaches love, caring and kindness. Of course, the other consideration, is how in a single-family household, a growing child is often farmed off to a daycare center of some type, for the greater part of the day, where child abuse is known to occur routinely. But even if they are not abused, children are oftentimes taught the morals and values of someone the parent may not even know or agree with. Now let’s ask the question, “Why are there so many men who seem aimless, without goals or direction?” Is it possible such men, feel they no longer have purpose or reason to be anything better? So often women are heard to complain about how so many men are always drunk, doing little to nothing with their lives. Is it possible the feminist movement has pushed men to the side, creating in many of them, a sense of uselessness? There is an old saying, “Behind every successful man, there is a good woman.” And, "Behind every successful family, there is a successful man." The opposite, has never been said. Now we often hear the phrase among feminists, “Toxic Masculinity”. What is that? In the words of one feminist, “It is a man who refuses to comply with the rules of the feminist movement.” In other words, it is a MAN who refuses not to be a MAN! In the eyes of feminists, such men are “outdated knuckle-draggers who have no place in todays society.” God did not make Adam and Eve, to be the way we see men and women in society today. God created Adam, then by taking a rib from Adam, he created Eve. In this symbiotic relationship created by God, it was intended for Adam to provide and care for Eve, and for Eve to love and care for Adam. Unfortunately, in today’s society, such things have been turned on its head, to the point that Male-Female responsibilities have not just been blurred, but in too many cases, actually reversed. Continuing on this path, society will not become the happy place feminists would have you believe. Food for thought... Have a great day...
