Child care nurses work mainly in infant and child wards of hospitals and provide nursing care for young patients (infants, young children and adolescents). In addition, they help attending physicians with treatment and examinations. In addition to hospitals, nurses for childcare can work in home care for sick children, children's doctors' offices, as well as special institutions for children, such as orphanages, kindergartens and nurseries, institutions for disabled children, kursals, and pediatric institutions palliative care (children's hospices) or short-term care facilities. The task of a nurse for child care is to care for and help sick and children in need of special care. Which means understanding and providing individual needs depending on the stage of development of the child, as well as supporting young patients and their relatives in crisis situations. Caring for sick children, who often can only express their opinions as patients in a limited way, and especially for seriously ill and dying children, requires emotional stability and the ability to bear a great deal of mental stress. I work as a medical nurse in the neonatal pathology department. I love my work and children! I think my work tell about my kind and carrying heart, more then I can say in words.
