What are the top best lessons i've learned from marriage?
id: 10042492

Love and marriage are two separate things. Love is a necessary condition for a successful marriage, but not a sufficient one. Love is an emotional aspect. Marriage requires emotion, work, communication, anger management, and much more. I am still learning. Do the household chores together, let it be cooking, cleaning, or shopping. Your friendship will develop to a new level, and things will be done quickly so that you will not feel exhausted after. Find some movies, a series of common interest. You will learn to enjoy each other's company better. Try to tone down your disagreements. Somebody has said, never shout unless your house is on fire. If you are angry or annoyed, tell it respectfully in a slow and firm voice. It's much easier to concentrate on the issue if no shouting is involved. I have read a lot about personal freedom and happiness. Give your partner some space. Encourage him/her to demand something if he/she is unhappy. It will build a lot of trust and respect. Finally, if you are unhappy… just leave quietly, no need for revenge or hate. It will hurt you hard, but you will come out stronger. Malice and hatred have never made anyone happy. So these are my 5 cents. I hope it helps.
