In the history of humanity, there have always been people whose actions and ideas made a great influence on the life of other people. I would like to talk about Aristotle today. But not about his personality but about words he once said. According to his opinion being friends is the most important thing in a relationship. He also added that friendship is much more important than intimacy. You may think that it was controversial words but if you will take a closer look then you will see that he was right. There were, there are and there will be lots of examples of relationships in which intimacy and desire take the first place. It’s the most important thing for partners. And it’s a very bad example because this type of relationship ends sooner or later. Desire is like a flame and it’s a fact that flame will disappear. And what will be left in this case? Nothing. I guess some of my readers think that I am not right. They think that desire will never fade. Ok, I want you to imagine something. Apple pie is your favorite dessert. Try to eat it every day, every week, every month and every year. I am sure that you will start to hate eating apple pie. The same thing with desire. But if both partners are true friends then it’s everlasting. What is friendship? It’s a strong spiritual connection that includes trust, honesty, and respect. It’s like a wine which becomes better with years. I will not dive into deep and serious conclusions now. I will put it simply. Choose wine but not a pie.
