Why is it so hard to find a good man to build a future with?

Picture this.
You're walking along outside on the sidewalk in a populated area. The sun is out but not burning your skin or making you squelch your eye sockets, a beautiful breeze just flowing through your entire face while letting your hair dance from behind. You feel pretty content and have a pretty chill vibe going through your body. You smile at your regular looking man, showing those pearly white teeth and showing off your work of are with your makeup. The guy just smiles back and blushes while silently walking past you — nothing out of the ordinary it's just a smile nothing really to consider. You continue walking, smiling at random men and women who walks past you and meets their eyes with yours until you find a bench with a gentleman dressed up with a beautiful grey suit with a white button-up and blue tie with grey dress up pants and a black pair of Loafers. His legs are crossed. He lifts his arm and looks at the watch hanging directly around his wrist and goes back to observing the scenery. Now your mind has floated away from reality, thinking about nothing but this one gentleman who stands out from the rest until You decide to stop and sit next to him, striking up a conversation.
Fast forward, you two are a couple, dating each other and you learn about how successful he is with owning his own business and travelling from one part of the globe to the next. You love the smile that glistens from his face each time you two glance at each other before he looks back down, tending to his journal, writing ideas about improving his business. You enjoy cuddling up to him and abhor the small arguments that make you wrinkle your forehead and speed off to your room but enjoy making it better in bed. However, something is missing. You don't feel that true sense of love. Everything else is there. Looks, possessions, success, manners everything that a woman dreams of.
Time to rewind back time.
You took one man that stood out over the guy who blushed while you two walked passed each other. This guy happens to be a bit reserved and had a stain on the side of his shirt from helping his father paint a house. Hair was a little mangled and tangled up. However, He happened to be just an average man also looking for someone who could grow with him and share his life with. He blushed because you gave him butterflies in his stomach (either that or johnny decided to play peekaboo) you passed someone looking for the same thing just to date someone who already has what he's looking for.
You looked right in front of you and missed a golden opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and discover what the underdogs have under their Collar. You missed a chance to learn that he was exactly what you were looking for.
