The World Health Organization hopes that the coronavirus will be defeated in less than two years. WHO head Tedros Adan Ghebreyesus compared the current pandemic to the Spanish flu epidemic 100 years ago, recalling that then the world suffered for two years. In Lebanon, authorities introduced quarantine, Beijing residents were allowed to walk without masks, and a surge in infections was recorded in Poland.
