We have all heard that statement made by almost everyone we have met and talked to here. "Love Knows No Age"! First I want to make a few statements that will shed some light on that belief in the United States and how people treat that belief. It has been my experience that if you married a much younger woman in our country, eyebrows would rise, gossip would start, and sometimes outright condemning statements or comments would be made to the people involved. Oh, yes we do have marriages and relationships that have many years between ages of the couple. But, I have to tell you, it is not openly sought after like it is here. I think this is present because of the open disrespect of women here from the men that live here. It is really a shame, Ukraine has the most beautiful women that I have ever had the opportunity to talk to. And also, they are level headed and openly genuine good people and very loving to others. So, I understand why they seek older men, they are looking for stability and commitment that is usually instilled in older men from the United States. Maybe it has something to do with the generation that most of us have lived in, or maybe the way we were brought up. Also, experience in relationships has a lot to do with it too. Speaking for myself, I have made mistakes in the past just like most of us do, it is human nature that allows that to happen, but the good side of that is, I think we learned very good lessons in the process and now we know what is important in dealings with others, especially women. Sometimes that is painful, but when we finally learn how to relate to women, wow, the relationships are so much more loving and enjoyable. I don't think that any of us will ever totally understand the opposite sex, but that makes it even more exciting and enjoyable. The right attitude will get us through it, and what a ride it is sometimes too!
Now, the thing that I want to mention now is really an uncomfortable subject and maybe even a little morbid. But it is important in communication that if the man is a lot older than the woman, there is the potential that the man will not live as long as the woman. This is a true fact, but if the couple gets married, and is blessed with children, there is a very strong possibility that the woman will be left sometimes with young children that she is going to have to take up the slack and love them like both parents. Now, I truly believe that most of the women in Ukraine are capable of doing just that. But, I also believe that this tender subject has to be out in the open between the couple, nothing held back as far as feelings. I also believe that love will overcome that drawback in all cases if they are honest about it between each other. Now, I also know that none of us knows how long we have on this earth, that is a life fact, but the odds have to be dealt with and I think that most of the women here realize that. Yes, Love Knows No Age - - I myself would love to have children to love, and cherish again in my life. So many precious memories are created with them that never leave your soul or hearts. It has instilled in me to love like today is your last, to cherish your partner like she is the diamond that belongs to you, the helpmate and best friend you could ever have in your lifetime. When we have that, as far as I am concerned, Love Has No Age!!
