Why do we live for others and not for ourselves?
id: 10041028

No person can consider himself complete as long as he depends on someone else's opinion. For some reason, it is very important for all of us to reproduce the desired impression on everyone around us. We want to be liked. Enthusiastic looks, a new dress, a new phone, a haircut. We take loans for this. We live at a loss to ourselves, but to show others. And there are very few people who really come to the realization, why?
It's so fashionable to have a rest abroad, which means you have to take out loans and go. And it doesn't matter if the soul wants to go to the village with a fishing rod, and the salary does not allow to show off. Others do so, which means we are the same. What for?
What will people think? Why are we so dependent on the opinions of strangers? Why do we put aside our interests and simply satisfy the curiosity of others? We are afraid to seem ridiculous. We are afraid of condemnation of people whom we see for the first and last time on the street, we are not ready to defend our point of view if they go against the generally accepted.
We put off life and happiness. We even adjust the concept of happiness to the generally accepted ones. Since everyone thinks that making a lot is cool, then we need to, since everyone thinks that we need to work in the office for five days, and this is cool, then we need it. But if you are happy working in a village store, and in the evening instead of a bar with a hookah, you like to sit on the river with a fishing rod, and at the same time you are happy, why do you go to a bar? Because it's cool in public opinion. We change ourselves for the sake of society.
The most ironic is that the realization of this will come to everyone, as long as it is not too late.
