We live in an amazing time, when the level of development of technology freed us from slave, exhausting labor for the sake of survival. We have more time and more freedom, more opportunities for self-development, and if we do not know how to use this correctly, then it is our fault.

Perhaps we are in a hustle and bustle in pursuit of material wealth or have taken on an unbearable burden of responsibility. But again, it all depends on whether we realize, for whom and why we are doing all this. One thinks that he works for the authorities, for the state, for the sake of children, husband or wife, and therefore feels not free, a slave. The other considers himself a part of a single world and tries to do everything possible for development, realizing that he is doing this for himself, and then he feels free. The whole world belongs to him, and he uses every opportunity for development - both his own and the universal. Freedom depends not so much on circumstances as on the breadth of consciousness.

Since I realized this, I stopped considering self-development as some kind of personal matter, for which I need to carve out a special time and place. Everything I do - whether at home, at work, alone or with others - promotes expansion of consciousness, development and awareness. Everywhere I see a sea of ​​opportunities and I hasten to realize them. Perhaps this is true freedom, which no one can take away from us.
