Violence in a family
id: 10044429

Much has been written about physical violence in families. And the fact that there is often a large amount of exaggeration among what has been written does not negate the fact that this problem exists.
But they write about psychological violence much less often. First of all, because this type of violence mainly comes from women.
I think that absolutely everyone has familiar men who are ready to go anywhere, even for a second job, even drinking beer in the garage - the main thing is not to go home. Because at home - SHE (by the way, this word is a wonderful marker, if a man calls his wife that way, it is almost always not good at home).

And a man, as a rule, is not able to protect himself from constant psychological stress.
Demagoguery on the topic "tyzhemuzhik" and "bemuzhik", like then the aunt will feel your strength and will not engage in nonsense, I deliberately do not consider it.
Marriage is not dog training, and a woman is not a wild animal that understands only strength, although, of course, such aunts exist in considerable numbers.
And if the law and society are on the side of the woman suffering from physical violence, then on the side of the man, it seems, there is nothing and no one.
Although, how to look. Oddly enough, the law may be on the man's side.
Each country has its own legislation, but I came across an extract from Ukrainian legislation on Maskuliste. If you delve into the legislation of other countries, you can probably find something similar.

psychological violence in the family - violence associated with the action of one family member on the psyche of another family member through verbal abuse or threats, harassment, intimidation, which deliberately causes emotional insecurity, inability to protect oneself and may or may harm mental health;
economic violence in the family - the deliberate deprivation by one family member of another family member of housing, food, clothing and other property or funds to which the victim has the right provided by law, may lead to his death, cause a violation of physical or mental health;

For some reason, many men considered the text of this law sharply directed against themselves.
But, in the text of the law, nowhere is the word aunt. And the word man is also not.
There is a law that protects against violence. And nowhere is it written that only aunts are under protection.
The husband's wife brought her to a heart attack - caused damage to his health, here is a medical statement.
After the divorce, my husband had to really run around psychiatrists - it caused damage both physical and mental. Again, here are all the doctors' notes. If you wish, you can blame any sore on violence from your wife.
Yes, I understand, it is very difficult to prove that after that it is precisely because of that.
But you can try. I would try if I was a little different person in my time.
It would not be boring for sure.
