What does not exist in America, but can be in Russia?
id: 10043459

Let's start right away with those facts:

1) There is no free education or medicine in the USA, even for citizens. Usually, she gets insurance from her employer, which can cover treatment and some services in different amounts. Calling an ambulance here will cost around $2,000, which is why even at the cinema she could watch the characters of a movie taking a friend directly to the entrance to the hospital, rather than calling an ambulance.

2) No national cuisine. But the diversity of the dishes on offer is very pleasing, and sometimes her eyes spill out when ordering food! In the USA, all the cuisines in the world are represented, and they are very close to the original, as restaurants and establishments are likely to be served by people from these countries.

3) Almost all holidays in America give 1 day off. She loves to surprise Americans when she says that they have holidays in Russia from 31 December to 9 January. Americans are hardworking people.

4) Maternity leave under US law is only 6 weeks. And then babies are given to kindergarten. Once again, she is back to the fact that people here love to work.

5) There are very few 24-hour shops. If you wanted to buy something after 10 pm, you probably wouldn't be able to do anything. This is actually a huge problem for her personally, but she understands that it is not for Americans who go to bed early and get up early for work too.

6) A tip of 15-20% of the check can be immediately added to any account. And she often thinks: sit in a restaurant or take food "to go". Leaving a tip here is a must, otherwise, it will be taken as an insult. She takes a taxi ride - leaves the tea, orders the food - leaves the tea. That's how she lives.

7) She thinks I have heard about high taxes. If you see the inscription "Sales tax", it means that the price of the price tag will not be equal to what you pay at the cash desk. Sales tax is between 5 and 15% by the state.

But remember, friends, that this "law" works and vice versa: what is not in Russia, it can be in America! ;)
