Love me or don't love me
id: 10045706

There are types of love that are afraid of getting hurt. They get stuck in their feelings, cling to their loneliness, hurt themselves and don't even realize it. In order to love well you have to open up the channel, you have to be willing to conjugate verbs in the future, to build projects that begin with a "we". And not to tremble when they are spoken. In order to love well you have to take care of every detail, to make that person with whom you are sharing your days participate, to renounce small things without being aware of them, to do it simply because you want to. And that they are all worthwhile. If they involve an effort, neither you make an effort nor I want them.

I hurt, I am disappointed, I walk away and I end up getting lost. When I wake up from this paper and cardboard love, I am so far away from what we were that I don't even remember how I felt about you. And it is too late. It's amazing how a person who means so much to someone in a matter of time can become a true stranger. Damn it, why are we so bad at doing things. Life goes around in circles but, I want to believe, if I ever thought I was losing the person I loved, I'd turn around and make things right. I would not want to live with a failure to try, the bitter taste of selfishness, of cowardice. The "too late" echoing in my head, not having you because of me? I am dying.

Look, either love me or don't love me. Walking in the opposite direction from your lips was not part of my plans, but believe me, I will not continue to wait for you to really love you. Because mine are sincere, because I am risking everything, because I deserve it. The fucking phrase of not knowing what you have until you lose it to me doesn't work. Love me well or don't love me, give it all or give nothing.
