Like an angel embraced the earth
With a wave of white wing
A bright holiday has come to us again,
Day of Christ Christmas.

Everything around has changed.
Good wishes
In every heart lit up
Like sparks of a fire.

Let them become brighter
Even on the grayest day
In joyful candles glow
Let the shadow of misfortune melt

Lies and grievances disappear
Together with envy and evil,
And we will become kind to each other,
As bequeathed by the Creator.

Together with the bell ringing
The soul will rush upward
To light, joy, hope
On the day of Christ's Christmas!
