And here comes another lonely evening...you come in after work. Tired, exhausted, and mentally exhausted. No one is waiting at home, there is no need to rush there. Not even a hungry cat. A familiar picture that makes you feel afraid. It's a vicious circle. You work to survive in a big city, and you no longer have enough energy for what creates this life - meeting with friends, socializing, walking, romantic relationships. And you're slipping into loneliness.
You start thinking that you are unhappy because you don't have a mate, you don't have a loved one. But many people are also unhappy in marriage. Maybe it's because you don't have kids yet. But you can probably name a dozen unhappy moms yourself. Then why is this happening to you? Why aren't you happy?
Think about what you spend the lion's share of your time on: work. Do you like your job? Or do you just earn money, not caring about your aspirations and desires? Previously, when I was doing something I didn't like, I constantly caught myself thinking: why am I doing this?!! Can you answer that question for yourself? If not, change your job immediately. Start doing what you like. Even if you're the only one who likes it in your environment.
