I remember the advice they gave me before starting work that you need to be tougher, immediately make it clear to the children who is in charge here. But it didn't work out for me.
In the first days, I made friends with the students, although I knew it was wrong.
And now they know me at school as a kind and cheerful teacher. Everyone knows that in my lessons no one sits quietly, that we will play educational games than complete tasks according to the textbook.
It is believed that this makes children relax, but this is exactly what is needed for my learning: a constrained child does not remember the lesson well. If he is comfortable, he will cease to be shy and afraid to make a mistake.Children reveal their inner world, rejoice at their successes, become kinder and more responsive.
Of course, some rigor is still needed.
Children may decide that since I am smiling, it means that the homework need not be done. But if there is no homework, I give a two.

I love my students very much.
Many are surprised when, after the holidays, I go to work with joy.
It's just that I will meet my best friends at school.
