Is it worth romanticizing everything so much?

Talking to my grandmother, I concluded that in their time there were no such demands for love. They were happy to have their favorite man by their side and nothing else was more important.

Beginning with my parents' relationship, the relationship became more and more romantic and action-oriented, but the words were still there. My father wrote poems and letters to my mother when he was in the army. After the army and to this day, he gives her gifts every week. He's still ready to shout about love.

But as I look at myself, at my friends, I am beginning to realize that these days words are just dust that anyone can throw in our eyes.

But what really matters? ACTIONS. But why has this happened? Why wouldn't a woman believe a man without a bouquet of roses or a piece of jewelry?
