Sigmund Freud wrote that parents become the prototypes of the partners we choose. Boys fall in love with girls who look like mom, girls fall in love with men like dad.
My dad is 12 years older than my mom! My mom is the happiest woman and she loves my dad very much! I'm sure age and distance are not important!
Many women instinctively seek older men, because they did not receive their father's love, care and attention in childhood. There are many options, but perhaps they were not told in childhood: "I love you" or "You are my princess." Or maybe the woman grew up in an incomplete family, where for some reason there was no father.

At the same time, a mature man is a reliable rear, behind which a woman is good for many reasons:

1) Emotional support and care. With age, men begin to understand the needs of women! They know how to listen and support in difficult times, which can be difficult in young couples.
2) Interesting personality. An adult man is a person who has seen and knows a lot. Of course, it is more interesting with him than with a man who is younger than a woman, who has not yet decided who he is and what is interesting to him.
3) Material benefit. A financially successful man is a reliable support for a family in which a woman can take care of the house, work and have a hobby and raising children!
4) Reliability. A mature man will not cheat, he knows what he wants. It's not scary to start a family with him, you can trust him!
