We all want love. Real, deep and for life. To be with someone, so that it is not scary. And we are looking for salvation from the frightening loneliness in a relationship. The only thing is that they do not save anyone and from anything.
Feelings of emptiness, loss, sadness and hate still remain. It is not surprising, because they are inside and in no way connected with the presence or absence of a partner in our life.
Most people enter into relationships not at all because they sincerely want to be close to a certain person, but in order to make up for what is missing inside. They think, "But when I find someone, everything will change. I will be happy, contented and satisfied. The love of another person is my salvation."
Indeed, when they meet someone, start dating, at first life changes for the better: pleasant excitement, joy, a sense of security. But a month or two passes, six months or even several years, and again sadness and a feeling of loneliness rolls over. Without thinking twice, they pass a verdict on what is happening: "This partner is guilty! It is because of him that I suffer and feel deeply unhappy. It is because of him that I am angry and hate myself." It comes almost to hatred: "This man broke my heart!"
The most paradoxical in this story is that the parterre can think in the same way, believing that it was his life that was destroyed, that his inner light was extinguished and deprived of joy.
It's time to realize this and become your true love. This is not narcissism or selfishness at all. It's about loving yourself entirely. With all the advantages and disadvantages. Both the light side and the dark side.
Learn to appreciate and love yourself as a person. Become your very best friend. Study yourself, listen to yourself, learn what feeds your soul, what brings joy and inspiration.
