Many times men and women around the world dedicate songs to someone.

The instruments create the mood and the lyrics speak the heart. When someone dedicates a song to you, it is wise to listen to words, especially when internet or long distance dating. Most of us are not classically trained writers/authors. And even if we are well versed in the written language, texts many times miss the true emotion of the writer. This can lead to misinterpretations of the text or letter. It can be even more difficult to convey some emotions when language is translated. Something that is written with light frivolity may be read by the recipient when they have just received heavy and bad news. They may not see see the humor as it was intended.
I may write something with a wry smile on my face and a tone of sarcastic humor. The reader is not aware of my vocal tone nor the smile on my face. The reader may react very differently when reading the same thing that may have been spoken. Sometimes we hav to apologize for not reading the letter correctly. I believe that is necessary to keep honest communication open.
Songs are a good way to tell how we feel. Most songs have a singular theme. Love, Frivolity, simple happiness, etc. Some songs can take on different meanings based on the listeners mood. But the song almost always is intended to evoke emotions.
I make a living as a graphic artist/art director. I use images and words to evoke emotions. I understand the power of images mixed with words. It is very much like songs. And even so, as a professional whose living depends on successful marketing, I have seen failure. But lest I learn from those failures, I am doomed to repeat them. So I analyze and study so that I can make the appropriate adjustments.
Songs. They are wonderful. Let you know your internet date know the song that is speaking to you and your loved one. Maybe only part of the song is appropriate. Tell them.
In this case, Stevie B - Because I Love You fits very well from the sender to the recipient. I would choose to send that very same song back to my love.
