Many ladies have written to me about a man hitting a woman. Although my father abused my mother, and all psychologists conclude that an abusive husband is an inherited genetic defect, it is something that I have never been able to excuse or tolerate. I cannot even understand how anyone can attack someone that is weaker, even if it is another man, not to mention, a woman.

To all of the women that have asked me, No, I could not ever, under any circumstances, hit a woman. That is one of the two things, common in humans, that I will never be able to understand, a man hurting a woman, or a child. The other common human abnormality is a mother killing her own unborn child.

The last time that my father hit my mother was when I was 12 years old. I fought him like a tiger. He beat me but he stopped beating her. For the next 4 years anytime he hit my mother, or my sister, I fought him like a tiger and lost, but I took all of the beatings instead of them. Then came the day when he could not beat me. I held him against the wall and I had mercy on him. Even when he pulled a gun on me and shot at me, I over powered him, but I had mercy. He was my father and I could not raise my hand to him, yet I would not allow him to raise his to someone else.

So, to all of the ladies asking me if a man ever has a right to use his strength over someone who is weaker, my answer is, No, Never. A man fights to protect others, not to hurt them, which is an opportunity for honor. If a man has no honor, then he has nothing and cannot even claim to be a man.
