I have a life all my life that happiness must be earned. That you have to fight for it. That it doesn't just come.
And I fought. I fought my whole life and put off happiness for later.
I put it off until the end of the fifth grade, school, institute. Then he put it off until his parents and relatives recovered. And then they were gone, the war came, took everything that was left and an epiphany appeared. From the side where happiness is expected, it does not come. And if there are pieces of it, then they are some kind of rotten and expired.
After all, in fact, it turns out that while waiting for that very happiness we are not “here” and we are not “now”. We do not notice what is happening around every minute of our life, we do not notice our feelings in the present. We live in the future, which does not exist yet, and then immediately move on to the memories of the past, which no longer exists. We do not live in the present. We make a substitution and mistakenly believe that happiness is to have something, to buy or eat something, to go somewhere.
And HAPPINESS is just living. God's grace descends on us, constantly. The love of God is sent to us all the time. We can breathe, see the beauty of our planet, hear birds singing and the sound of the surf. To observe the enthusiastic and full of surprise eyes of children, smiles of lovers and quiet joy in the eyes of old people walking by the hand ...
Be happy, please be happy every second, here and now. Be happy.
