Long-distance relationship

Find a convenient time to talk regularly
Even if you work at your computer 24/7, sometimes you just need to talk and get feedback. Depending on the distance, it takes a certain period of time to form a suitable time schedule for conversations, but as the saying goes, he who seeks, he will always find. For example, you can send your loved one funny voice messages when you don't have time to chat with him or her on the phone. And no, it doesn't matter if you can only call on Sunday mornings. The important thing is to make time for each other.

Be resourceful.
Record an unexpected audio message, send a letter, postcard or package. Engage your imagination and look for surprising new ways to give your partner attention. That doesn't mean you should squander all the money in the account: instead of spending money on expensive gifts, why not prepare stickers with nice notes for the next meeting?
Don't avoid arguments.
If you see each other every couple of weeks or months and even speak different languages, problems and worries fade into the background for you. No one wants to waste time arguing and conflicting when you only have 48 hours to be together, but turning a blind eye to disagreements will hurt the development of your relationship. The more you talk about topics you haven't yet come to a compromise on before they become a serious obstacle in your love story, the better. Try to solve problems in a meeting or on the phone as soon as they arise. Correspondence in such matters is not welcome.

Look at the world with a positive attitude!
There are pluses and minuses to the usual pattern of life with a long-distance relationship. Sometimes you may feel as if you are missing something, because you rarely cross paths with your significant other, rarely meet after work or have lunch together. However, there is a flip side to the coin - you can get busy with your own business. And if you have a force majeure at work or university, you won't have to upset your loved one by canceling dinner or movie plans, for example.
Make each other a part of your daily life
Whenever you can, tell each other about places you frequent (you can send a picture) and people you spend time with. This way, your daily conversations will become much more meaningful and your sense of togetherness with your loved one will only grow stronger.
