Soon the most beautiful holiday-bright Easter
id: 10045771

I have less than a week to prepare for the holiday.
My to-do list for this week is small, but quite responsible:

1) Cleaning.
Perhaps this is the most significant and not very favorite piece of work: "shake up" all the cabinets in the house and throw out everything unnecessary, put winter things on the far shelf and prepare spring-summer ones, wash the windows, wash and iron the tulle and curtains.

2) It is much more pleasant to be engaged in drawing up a festive menu!
This year I plan to include traditional Easter dishes again.
I really want to bake a festive cake.

To be honest, I have never baked Easter cakes before, because traditionally we celebrate this holiday in the circle of our large family - with my parents. And my mother, as the main cook in her kitchen, from year to year takes care that there are enough cakes for everyone, not only for the weekend, but also for a couple of weeks ahead. Therefore, I simply did not need to bake anything for the holiday.

So I should look for a recipe for some very tasty Easter cake. I will be grateful to everyone who will share with me their favorite recipes.

3) And I will also paint eggs. Therefore, you need to prepare in advance the necessary materials for painting eggs (husks, food dyes, duct tape, leaves, lace)

4) Well, what a holiday without gifts! I plan to make small handmade holiday souvenirs for my parents.

For me, Easter has been and remains one of their most beloved, bright and magical holidays since childhood, along with Christmas. A holiday that has its own customs and traditions that are passed down from generation to generation.
Recently, disputes over the origin and origin of the Easter holiday have become more and more frequent on the Internet.
Some believe that it came to us from paganism, since the second name of the Easter holiday "among the people" is Velikden, which means the holiday of the spring equinox.

It is also surprising that the date of the Savior's resurrection (for some reason?) it changes annually and is calculated according to the Solar and Lunar cycle. Just this moment suggests that the event is rather not historical, but natural in nature. Anyone who is engaged in agriculture knows that this method of calculation is used when calculating favorable days for planting. And it follows that Easter is not a religious holiday, but rather a holiday of fertility and the beginning of the first field work.
