The word Self-made recently sounds from every iron, but let's see if it is possible to make yourself 100% yourself?
What do you mean, I made myself? And what about all the imprints that are left on us, our lives from others. From all those who got in our way. Someone advised us, someone believed in us and supported us. Someone did not believe and laughed and thus tempered our desire to become even better. How did all those people who once taught us to write books that changed us, like all those individuals who inspired us in their own way?
On the one hand, every time we make a decision about what to do next. Whether to ask for help or flounder yourself. But we are not ourselves, we are as a single organism, people: both now living and those who have been gone for thousands of years, but from books that tell us wisdom. We are all united, and I think this is the main secret. Not to separate, but to thank.
Yes, I have found myself alone with circumstances many times when it was necessary to be strong and independent. But thousands of times there were other people who, in one form or another, left their marks on me, my success, my career, and some of them left scars on my heart.
But I sincerely thank and appreciate everyone, because it is better to be just happy and grateful than to be 100% self-made.
